September 2012: The Month in Review

General News

September wasn't a great writing month.  I didn't finish a single story.  I had one story published, and I sold one story.  I have one novel and just over 30 stories submitted, and a handful that I need to send back out.  Two of my submissions are shortlisted.  My longest wait time is up to 341 days.

I felt strange all month--not depressed, exactly, but I couldn't focus on writing, and all of the rejections got to me a little more than usual.  I need to remember that even my worst month in 2012 was better than my best month in 2011.  I'm still moving forward, even if it's not as quickly as I want.

I'm hoping October will be better.  In fact, I know it will because I have already got two stories almost ready to type up.  I'm hoping to finish my remaining One Revolution stories so I can get the book printed before the end of the year.
