October 2012: The Month in Review

I have 36 short stories out.  My wait times range from 1-370 days, and one of them is shortlisted.  I also sent the first 50 pages of my novel to an agent this month.  I completed and submitted two new stories, and I wrote two One Revolution stories.  I’m really enjoying my online class with Cat Rambo.

I sold four stories, and had two stories published.  I also received a bunch of very disappointing near-miss rejections, and the publisher who requested my full novel manuscript passed on it.

In non-writing news, I’m starting a new job on November 12th.  I’m excited and nervous.
