Long Overdue Update!

I spent the last week of May on vacation.  My best friend, his younger brother, and I flew out to Vegas, where we spent a day wandering around the casinos.  That was neat, and the fountain outside the Bellagio was awesome to see in person.  The next day, we drove to the south rim of the Grand Canyon.  It was just amazing.  So huge, it almost didn’t seem real.  We hiked somewhere between 5 and 6 miles down into the canyon, then back up.  Then we drove to Zion National Park, where we did yet more hiking that involved going up and down cliffsides.  Then, we drove to Bluff, Utah and explored the Comb Ridge and checked out some cliff dwellings.  We also stopped by the Hovenweep National Monument, which was pretty dang awesome.  Then we flew home from Durango, CO.  We stopped in Mesa Verde National Park for a quick look around on our way to the airport, but we didn’t have time to check out the really cool things there.

In writing news, my story "Another Will Open" is going to be in the What Fates Impose anthology.  The book looks amazing, and there’s going to be a Kickstarter soon to help fund it.  I’ll make sure to post more about that when it’s live.

I also sold another story to The Colored Lens.  It really is a lovely magazine, and I’ve got other stories in previous issues.  You should check them out.
