2012 in Review

2012 was, without a single doubt, my very best year in writing so far.  I had 30 stories published.  I created a sucessful Kickstarter project, which I’ve completed ahead of schedule.  I sold at least one story every month.  I took a few really excellent classes, and my work has received some positive reviews.  I had a few editors request stories from me, and I sold two stories to invitation-only anthologies.  I joined SFWA.

I was accepted into the Creative Writing MFA progam at Chatham University, but I couldn’t afford to attend.  I’m trying again in 2013 and hoping for a fellowship or assistantship.  I sent out 275 story submissions in the past 12 months, and my acceptance ratio is 10.4%.
